Media DVD pictures;

First Image;

I like this image as the setting is an isolated area, she seems trapped and alone which makes her seem vulnerable which is conventional  of the thriller genre. Also, she has white make up, in contrast with the black eye make up this looks effective because it makes her look scared and this is key to my film.

Second Image;

I like the camera angle in this photograph as the grass gives effect to to photo and it makes it look more interesting. It is also from a low angle so she looks superior as she is important character to the film. Also her facial expressions are shock and scared this is conventional of the thriller genre and this makes it effective for the audience and we want to know why she is scared.

Third Image;

I don't like this image as the background doesn't seem conventional of the thriller genre and it doesn't scare the audience, i would like more close up of her face to make the audience feel more intimidated, i would also like to change the colour to black and white, so it is more conventional of the thriller genre.

Before i edited the image;

After i edited the image;

I have cropped this image as i felt the trees where unwanted to final image, also I changed the colour to black and white as this was more conventional of the thriller genre, and it made it look more effective and scary.
The make up looks as if she has been crying this is effective because the audience wants to know why she has been crying, she is looking away from the camera to show mystery, i wanted a close up of her face to show the detail of her being scared and crying. I think this is a very effective thriller genre DVD cover.
